Key Responsibilities- Participate in client meetings and business development activities to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key clients.
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial models to analyze client transactions and provide strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and other global products and services.
- Conduct due diligence and financial analysis on client transactions, including M&A, strategic alternatives, capital structure development, acquisition finance, and syndicated loan and capital market financing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for clients, including financial modeling, valuation, comparable and relative value analyses, and market-specific analysis.
- Assist in the development and execution of client pitches and marketing materials, including M&A, public/private debt and equity capital markets, syndicated bank financing, and other internal documentation.
- Provide support in financing structuring, underwriting transaction evaluation, preparation, due diligence, and execution.
- Assist in the development and cultivation of client relationships, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key clients.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Economics, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and capital markets with a top-tier global bank.
- Deep understanding of the Power & Utilities industry, with experience in banking transactions related to the energy sector.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets, and risk and pricing analysis.
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Maturity and good judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas.
- Creativity and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools, including FactSet, CapitalIQ, and Bloomberg.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses.
