Position Overview:
The Patient Access team at Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the pre-registration, registration, and admission processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance details and comprehend benefits
- Handle upfront collections, including co-pays and deductibles
- Ensure accuracy in demographic, financial, and advanced directive entries
- Conduct interviews with patients to gather necessary information and input data into the EMR system
- Identify individuals authorized to consent for services
- Sort and distribute relevant documentation and complete all registration phases, including:
     - Patient bracelets
     - Patient rights information
     - Health Care Proxy details
- Clarify hospital policies regarding valuables, patient rights, health care proxies, and Medicare notices.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in medical office, hospital billing, or patient registration is advantageous
- Strong customer service, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Position Highlights and Benefits:
- Full-time role with 32 hours on the evening shift (3-11:30 PM) with shift and weekend differentials
- Initial training spans 2 weeks on a Monday to Friday daytime schedule
- Additional EPIC training required, including daytime hours
- Comprehensive benefits and health insurance coverage starting from day one.
