Acute Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Within 90 days of hire: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
- One year of RN experience.
