About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and symptoms, and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License (or New Mexico Registered Nurse License)
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- Within 90 days of hire: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course
- One year of RN experience
