Business Management Manager 1

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Business Management Manager 1 to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple contract types, including CPAF/CPFF/CR/T&M, and ensuring compliance with DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, prepare, and present Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS) data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Identify funding requirements and consumption.
  • Prepare, review, and present program financials (IF/AOP/PMR) to key OU and BU leadership.
  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review.
  • Management and development of geographically dispersed Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff.
  • Compliance and contractual reporting to internal and external customers.
  • On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams.
  • Review of contractual documents, including Technical Instructions.
  • Assistance with change management and Program Directives (PD).
  • Working with other key functional areas, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Contracts, and Pricing.
  • Support of pricing and proposal activities.

This position requires a strong understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR, as well as prior experience with customer program budgeting and forecasting, Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), and funding consumption tracking. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Active Secret Clearance is also required.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,600

The salary range represents a general guideline, and the actual salary will be based on the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
