Job Overview

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students in charter schools. This full-time, school-based position is located in Santa Clarita, CA.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a requirement for bilingual Spanish proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
