Salary: $20.42 hourly/$41,145 annually
Hybrid role: Training 100% in-office (6-9 months); post training 4 days a week in office and work from home 1 day a week
As a Claims Service Specialist at GEICO, you will be responsible for collecting facts about accidents, investigating claim details, and collecting statements from involved parties. You will work closely with policyholders to provide support and assistance during the claims process.
Our paid, industry-leading training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. You will learn the ins and outs of the claims process and be ready to assist our policyholders when they need us the most.
As a Claims Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and develop new skills. Many associates see a base salary increase of 10% within their first year, and top associates can see increases up to 15%.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction
- Solid computer multitasking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
- Ability to work comfortably and grow in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
