Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and shipping parts, consumables, and materials to and from the Parts Department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify incoming parts and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Receive and process parts through the RAAS database, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Prepare Serviceable Tags for received parts as needed.
  • Place received parts on inspection room shelves for inspection.
  • Create shipping bills in the RAAS database for items shipped to alternate locations.
  • Assist with preparation of parts shipped via Gold Streak, RAVN, or other means.
  • Quarantine parts with documentation discrepancies and work with inspectors and the Parts Manager to resolve issues.
  • Assist with expediting as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and stockroom floor areas.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety aspects, specific practices, and procedures of the work scope and position.
  • Be familiar with the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) and Occupational Safety Manual (OSM).
  • Contribute to the Safety Culture of the Company and report any Safety Hazards.
  • Required to learn and understand Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those that cannot be personally corrected to a supervisor.
Physical Abilities

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms.
  • Sufficient dexterity to manipulate small objects and print or write legibly.
  • Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull objects that may frequently exceed 70 pounds.
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Requires the ability to be sedentary for extended periods of time.
  • Shall perceive the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business-related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects.
Qualifications
  • Requires the ability to understand, retain, and deliver information verbally and written.
  • Requires good organizational, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills and the ability to maintain current and updated information.
  • Requires the ability to input and retrieve information from a database.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, such as talking on the phone, data entry, and data retrieval.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
