Vistrada is actively searching for talented and driven Cybersecurity Systems Specialists to become part of our distinguished team.

In the role of Cybersecurity Systems Specialist, you will be instrumental in detecting and addressing vulnerabilities, ensuring the secure integration and functioning of systems, and providing prompt response measures to security incidents.

We have openings for Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Level positions.

Position:

Cybersecurity Systems Specialist Level:
Junior/Intermediate/Senior

Personnel Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field in IT or equivalent experience.

For Junior Level:

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Security Administration for applications or technologies as per task order specifications and at least five (5) years of experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT projects.


For Intermediate Level:

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Security Administration for applications or technologies as per task order specifications and at least seven (7) years of experience in full SDLC for IT projects.


For Senior Level:

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Security Administration for applications or technologies as per task order specifications and at least ten (10) years of experience in full SDLC for IT projects.


Capabilities:
Identifies and mitigates vulnerabilities using alternative or compensating controls if necessary.


Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots Information Assurance (IA) software issues in collaboration with other IA personnel to ensure timely response actions to security incidents.


Recognizes potential security breaches, takes appropriate action to report the incident as mandated by regulations, and mitigates any adverse effects.


Implements necessary patches, including IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA), IA vulnerability bulletins (IAVB), and technical advisories (TA) for assigned operating systems.


For Junior Level:

Engages in information assurance activities in data center environments, assists with the installation, daily operation, and maintenance of IA systems, including technical support, troubleshooting, and system testing.


For Intermediate Level:

Provides network environment (NE) and advanced computing environment support, including perimeter controls, internal network monitoring, sensor implementation, and analysis under the general supervision of a network manager.


For Senior Level:

Supports advanced computing, network, or enclave environments, applying extensive knowledge of a wide range of IA concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure integration and operation of all enclave systems. Resolves IA issues swiftly and thoroughly by working independently or leading and directing others.
