Job Overview

Ted's Bulletin is a dynamic and growing restaurant chain seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our new locations in DC and Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving performance, building a strong team culture, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise employees to ensure operational excellence and adherence to Ted's brand standards
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and Culinary team to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Model hospitality and lead by example, instilling service standards for the team
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to build a positive and productive work environment
  • Actively coach and counsel employees to ensure effective performance and documentation
  • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and vendor partnerships to optimize restaurant operations
  • Collaborate with the Back of House team to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Evaluate guest feedback and ratings, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred, with 3+ years of restaurant management experience and career progression
  • Excellent working knowledge of restaurant systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to understand and positively impact financials, including sales, costs, and labor
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and lead a diverse workforce, and form relationships with peers, leadership, and staff
  • Ability to work extended hours and stand for extended periods, with a valid driver's license
