About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Tech to join our team at Foundations Behavioral Health. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and secure unit environment for patients and staff, while also supporting the care and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities
  • Observe, report, and record patient behaviors under the supervision of nursing staff
  • Assist in providing a safe and secure unit environment for patients and staff
  • Support the care and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Participate in respiratory fit testing
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of experience in a human service field
  • Compassionate about the care and safety of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders and utilize effective behavior management techniques
