We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Contracts Specialist to join our team at SummitStone Health Partners. As a Grants and Contracts Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our grants and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit grant and contract proposals, including budgets and financial reports.
- Manage and track grant and contract revenue, including invoicing and cash receipts.
- Perform analytical reviews of budget to actual, researching and recommending actions to address variances.
- Develop and maintain internal spreadsheets for grants and contracts, tracking and managing budgets.
- Lead meetings with Program Managers and Directors to ensure proper grant expense and revenue recognition.
- Reconcile Account Receivable sub-ledgers, ensuring cash receipts are applied to the proper grant and customer-payor source.
- Interact with the Accounting team to perform a smooth month-end/fiscal year-end close, supporting external financial audit, federal single audit, or grant/contract specific audit.
- Participate in educational opportunities related to non-profit accounting.
- Assess current practices and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- More than three (3) years of experience in Accounting, Grant administration, or Contract Administration.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered.
- Collaborative and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Prior experience in non-profit environment preferred.
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $68,182 - $81,817 annually, based on relevant years of experience. Benefits include time for a balanced life, financial benefits, and health, medical, and wellness benefits.
