Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts based on operational needs.

Role Overview: This position is hybrid, requiring occasional in-office attendance. Initial training will necessitate full-time presence in the office for the first few weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve escalated pharmacy-related inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Assist in the administrative support for clinical teams.
  • Conduct calls to fulfill program requirements and distribute necessary materials.
  • Maintain and manage eligibility information confidentially.
  • Request additional information as needed to complete applications.
  • Adhere to established schedules and quality standards.
  • Utilize a multi-line phone system to manage eligibility inquiries.
  • Stay informed about program qualifications to effectively troubleshoot eligibility issues.
  • Meet productivity standards for calls and assignments on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for special projects and reports.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in required meetings and special committees as necessary.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective communication with management.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.

Health and Safety Requirements: This role requires compliance with health and safety protocols, including necessary vaccinations and screenings.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in administrative support.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Background in a physician's office or hospital environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in a call center.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy operations.
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
