Job Summary:

The Implementation Manager is a key role within Vital Care Infusion Services, responsible for ensuring seamless onboarding of new infusion pharmacies. This position serves as a liaison between franchise partners and our organization, guaranteeing that all onboarding tasks meet expectations and comply with established policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support new infusion pharmacies in achieving and maintaining compliance with USP Chapter 797 and USP Chapter 800 regulations, as well as applicable state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide consultative support and guidance to new franchisees and approved vendors on ISO classified areas, product verification, and training efforts for new compounding personnel.
  • Develop and revise facility design resources and sterile compounding training resources for franchise employees.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to new infusion pharmacy franchises in areas related to facility construction, sterile compounding, regulatory surveys and inspections, vendor management, workflow strategies, new hire orientation, annual training, and other pharmacy operational activities.
  • Review and revise onboarding program standards, resources, and educational programs on an ongoing basis to meet franchise needs and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with sterile compounding-related equipment and supply vendors serving the franchise network.
  • Collaborate with franchise owners, construction contractor teams, and Vital Care's vendors to ensure timely construction project completion.
  • Serve as a resource for accreditation, pharmacy, and sterile compounding-related regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate internal collaboration to ensure key milestones are completed on time and meeting expectations.
  • Analyze, review, and report on progress with team members and business partners.
  • Complete assigned projects efficiently and effectively based on departmental expectations.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Prior experience in roles involving sterile compounding and cleanroom maintenance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent teaching skills and ability to demonstrate and communicate critical procedures to pharmacy professionals.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly grasp issues and understand strategy.
  • Demonstrated process and project ownership orientation with the ability to manage priorities and meet time commitments.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate project status with onboarding teams and Company leadership.
  • Highly skilled communicator in verbal, written, and oral presentation of information.
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, providing the ability to analyze progress, identify trends and anomalies, and recommend needed improvements.
  • Solution-oriented and resourceful, demonstrates excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to work effectively within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Program Management systems.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/associate degree or equivalent.
  • Certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program and maintaining ongoing education requirements are preferred.
  • Prior experience in roles involving infusion pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation is preferred.
