The Clinical Nurse Specialist will assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the healthcare team, adhering to established nursing processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively with the healthcare team, providing both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
  • Continuously assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients throughout their care journey.
  • Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the organization's philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles.
  • Maintain a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.

As a vital member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and documentation of personalized goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Your Qualifications Matter:

Education & Licensure:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, along with a valid Georgia State RN license.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting is required.

Additional Skills Required:

  • Successful completion of a medication administration exam prior to administering medications.
  • CPR certification and completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days of employment.
  • Exceptional crisis management and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm, organized, and professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with an expected compensation range of $40.00 per hour plus a $3,500 sign-on bonus. We are committed to considering all qualified candidates based on their experience and skill level.
