Job Overview:
Baptist Health Lexington Heart & Valve Center provides cardiac stress testing and managing cardiovascular conditions. We seek a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse at Baptist Health Lexington Heart & Valve Center, your key responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating patients' needs and creating personalized care plans;
• Delivering direct care to patients, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring;
• Coordinating patient care delivery, including task delegation to Patient Care Techs, Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Secretaries, and Students;
• Exhibiting leadership skills and guiding staff effectively;
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky;
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university;
• At least 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse;
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment;
