As an essential part of our care team, Hospice Care Consultants play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients by:

  • Expanding access to hospice and palliative care services
  • Facilitating the initiation of hospice services for patients and their families
  • Informing healthcare professionals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and other partners about the transformative benefits of hospice care
  • Ensuring that patients with life-limiting conditions receive the necessary care and support to live each day with comfort, dignity, and quality
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with referring physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare providers
  • Coordinating community outreach and public education initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five years of successful experience in a related industry, with a proven track record in customer relationship and account management.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer relationship management abilities, capable of navigating a sales process involving various stakeholders.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, with the confidence to engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, and department managers to present a compelling value proposition.
  • Professional demeanor that influences desired outcomes with both external and internal stakeholders.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

  • A valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
