Job Overview
We are thrilled to present an opportunity to join A Place for Mom as an outside sales Healthcare Account Executive (HCAE). In this role, you will represent A Place for Mom with hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your designated area, assisting families transitioning from these facilities. Your primary focus will be on generating leads and facilitating move-ins to senior living communities from your portfolio of accounts. You should be enthusiastic about building relationships with healthcare professionals and dedicated to discovering effective strategies to expand each account, ultimately helping families find the care they require.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a dynamic, expanding sector to assist families urgently seeking care in finding suitable communities or in-home care services as they leave hospitals or skilled nursing facilities.
- Achieve your monthly target of families selecting a senior care option by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your assigned accounts.
- Develop and manage your portfolio of accounts to enhance referral volume within your territory.
- Establish new connections within each account through networking, cold outreach, and service presentations, while following up on discharge outcomes to emphasize the value A Place for Mom provides.
- Inform families about their care options and how you, along with a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor, can assist them in finding the right senior living solution upon discharge.
- Collaborate with your partner Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your monthly goals for families moving into communities or securing in-home care.
- Test new initiatives, processes, and tools (e.g., account scoring, CRM updates) in your territory and provide constructive feedback to enhance the resources available to you.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor.
- Proven history of surpassing sales targets and collaborating effectively with other teams.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting to target customers and successfully addressing objections.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, independent environment with a proactive approach to testing new processes and achieving results.
- Eager to learn and improve with a competitive mindset.
- Willingness to travel locally within your territory (5 days a week).
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Experience in healthcare or hospital sales is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).
Additional Information
Work Schedule
- You will spend your days in the field, collaborating with your Regional Director to develop your account strategy each week to nurture and expand your accounts to meet your monthly objectives.
- Your fieldwork will involve scheduled presentations at accounts, phone calls, and spontaneous visits to connect with case managers, discharge planners, healthcare providers, and patients being discharged.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $80,000
- On Target Earnings: $115,000+ (Uncapped)
- Benefits: 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
