We are seeking a dedicated Color Matching Specialist to perform color analysis, fulfill sample requests, and assist in developing effective solutions. This role supports the advancement of industrial paint coating manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of color, meticulousness, and a commitment to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducts analysis of product samples, including comparative assessments and reporting.


2. Collaborates closely with Operations teams, including Materials Scientists, Coatings Chemists, Production, and Quality Control, to ensure optimal solutions are developed and delivered for final paint color.

3. Contributes to ongoing laboratory process enhancements and refinements.

4. Maintains laboratory cleanliness, oversees equipment upkeep, and performs additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience demonstrating a thorough understanding of product specifications, testing methodologies, and the significance of lab-generated analytical data to the broader organization.

• Preferred experience in color matching, quality control, and laboratory settings.

• Forklift operation experience is advantageous.

• Background in chemical manufacturing is preferred.

Skills:
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, with colleagues, supervisors, and internal/external clients.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in physical science or chemistry is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to operate a computer using the Windows operating system for administrative tasks, including timesheet completion and email communication.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts and on-call as needed.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the work shift.

• Tolerance for strong chemical odors.

• Comfortable working in laboratory, warehouse, and office environments.
