Job Summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a specialist in brain function assessment, you will work with patients to evaluate and diagnose cognitive and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with patients to assess brain function and identify areas of cognitive and behavioral impairment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified areas of need, including cognitive training, behavioral interventions, and medication management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, including physicians, psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cognitive and behavioral health topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in neuropsychology to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-approved training program.
  • Completion of a two-year fellowship program in neuropsychology.
  • Valid and current license to practice clinical psychology issued by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
  • Board Certified or eligible in neuropsychology, or a pending application of licensure if in the probationary period of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting evaluations with adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations in medical settings.
  • Expertise with special populations like neurodevelopmental disorders and somatoform disorder.
  • Experience conducting inpatient decision-making capacity evaluations.
