The Logistics Coordinator II is a key member of our team at LGC Biosearch Technologies, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Goods-Out shipping processes. This role requires a dedicated and reliable individual who can work independently, focusing on tasks involving warehouse processes, organization, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement tasks to address the growing needs of our supply chain management and organization.
- Work within a Goods Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Goods Distribution Practices (GDP) environment, upholding GMP and ISO 13485 standards.
- Support solution designs pertaining to Shipping processes and process flows, including import and export functionalities.
- Maintain Shipping room consumable inventories and ordering requests, adhering to Lean and FIFO inventory management practices.
- Support metric tracking systems and perform regular analyses thereof.
- Support robust cycle counting functionalities of finished goods stored in Shipping offices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Inventory, Planning, Production, Material Handling, and Operations.
- Support Quality Control and Assurance in the release of inbound materials.
- Ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the Shipping office areas, meeting 5S and OSHA standards.
- Support the safe and efficient operation of Dangerous Goods shipping, meeting service and OSHA, IATA, DOT, and on-site EHS standards.
- Heavy use of ERP, MES, and desktop work.
- Occasional travel between sites, with mileage expensed.
- Adherence to company Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policy.
