Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Atria Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the planning and implementation of two-way radio systems for the county's fire, EMS, public safety, and transportation departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement two-way radio systems, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Direct the vendor design, installation, and testing of Motorola trunk and conventional systems.
  • Implement multiple radio systems with multiple vendor contracts, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Provide detailed project direction to the Department of Public Works for the development of nine tower sites, adhering to Motorola R56 standards.
  • Represent the County at town and village planning and zoning board meetings, presenting detailed plans for zoning approval.
  • Collaborate with vendors and multiple County departments to ensure on-time, on-budget system cutover.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Land Mobile Radio and/or Public Safety Radio.
  • Ability to work with vendors and multiple County departments.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the County at various meetings.
