  • Academic Planning and Advising: Collaborate with Deans, Departments, and Chairs to advise and monitor student populations, projecting scheduling needs and ensuring students stay on track for graduation.
  • Policy and Procedure Support: Assist students with university policies and procedures, maintaining knowledge of current academic program offerings and course requirements.
  • Retention and Outreach: Develop and implement proactive, ongoing retention and outreach campaigns, as well as recovery efforts to support student success.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process requests in the Student Information System and Learning Management System, maintaining accurate filing systems and student records.
  • Strategic Interventions: Assess academic difficulties, develop remedies, and evaluate the effectiveness of student welfare and retention concerns.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop and maintain close working relationships with faculty and administrators for collaborative efforts, connecting students with on-campus services and resources.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree Preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with transcript evaluation and the ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
