Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator

At the Charlotte Hornets, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary:The Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator will work closely with our Director of Corporate Social Responsibility to implement programs, initiatives, and events that advance our community outreach goals. This role requires a proactive and creative mindset, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute community events and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community impact strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure all contractual community elements are fulfilled for assigned projects.
- Manage administrative functions for the CSR department, including nonprofit event sponsorships, in-kind donation requests and fulfillment, distribution of game tickets, and maintenance of the events calendar.
- Provide on-site support for home games, leading or assisting in the execution of CSR initiatives and activations during pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities.
- Cultivate positive relationships with corporate and community partners.
- Attend nonprofit and community events, both during regular business hours and on nights and weekends, as required.
- Assist with Hornets Foundation events and programs.
- A proactive and creative mindset, eager to contribute new ideas and solutions to improve processes.
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting team goals and a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and project milestones.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and actively seek opportunities to strengthen personal and professional development.
- Ability to identify potential challenges and assist in finding efficient solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
