Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a talented Line Cook to join our team at Carbone in the Dallas Design District. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume and fine dining restaurants, preferably with a culinary diploma or equivalent.

Our restaurant pays homage to the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century New York. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred.
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills a must.
