Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with a strong foundation in control systems.
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and designation as an Engineer in Training.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in power plant and industrial control systems.
- Proficient in power or industrial controls, with a solid understanding of instrumentation and controls engineering applications.
- Experience in creating and interpreting logic diagrams and control narratives.
- Familiarity with design techniques and tools for producing technical plans and models.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and a positive attitude.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with DCS, TCS, and/or PLC programming.
- Fieldwork experience related to control system upgrades and commissioning.
