Manufacturing Equipment Specialist

Objective: Responsible for the setup and maintenance of machinery within assigned production areas to ensure compliance with specifications, while guaranteeing that all equipment functions according to defined protocols and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish production tasks, confirming that all required machinery is operational for initial production runs.
- Adhere to setup protocols and procedures to fulfill quality assurance criteria.
- Make necessary adjustments to uphold quality standards and meet client specifications.
- Evaluate production metrics, implement necessary modifications, and recognize patterns to improve processes.
- Oversee and enhance production workflows within the area to maximize equipment efficiency.
- Be available for overtime as necessary to support production demands.
- Conduct essential checks and assessments to maintain equipment and process reliability.
- Operate medium-duty mechanical tools, including saws, grinders, sanders, and hand tools.
- Utilize measurement instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, hardness testers, and other precision tools for accurate evaluations.
- Complete engineering assignments as directed.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, operators, supervisors, and management regarding safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Training Requirements:
- Mandatory Training: New Hire Orientation, Forklift Operator Certification, Safety & PPE, Operator Guidelines, Inspection Procedures.
- Additional Training: Welding, CNC, Robotics, Laser, Lathes, Presses, Benders, and/or Saws.
Authority Level: No supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 7 hours).
- Frequent handling, controlling, or feeling objects, tools, or controls with hands.
- Lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels.
- Use of standard protective or safety equipment is mandatory.
Compensation: $21.00 to $27.00 per hour
