Job Title: Business Development Manager - School and Community Partnership

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager - School and Community Partnership is a key role in the Greater Philadelphia YMCA, responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with school districts, businesses, and non-profit partners to grow the portfolio of YMCA Youth Development lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new opportunities for service delivery, particularly through working with school district leadership and other educational organizations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, ensuring a deep understanding of the value of Y partnership.
  • Work with Youth Development leadership to plan and oversee new market initiatives and develop quotes and proposals for potential partners.
  • Provide market feedback regarding competitive offerings and community needs, and contribute to the development of strategies to increase revenue and margins.
  • Meet with partners regularly to understand opportunities for expansion and challenges, and provide leadership for successful resolution of school partner issues.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in school or child care administration and/or relationship management, with an MBA preferred.
  • Educational system experience at the school district level is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Child Care and Insurance industries or related experience is required.
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead groups in a manner that builds consensus and a sense of teamwork.
