Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:


As a Concrete Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in managing all facets of commercial concrete construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

  • Oversee all phases of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of concrete construction projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction personnel, subcontractors, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal standards.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate work activities with other construction project elements.
  • Manage the ordering and procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Address work-related issues and propose solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the concrete construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete construction processes, equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and technology.
  • A solid understanding of construction laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project expenses.
