About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Concrete Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of concrete construction projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
  • Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
  • Order and manage materials and equipment.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train and mentor staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the concrete construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of concrete construction processes, equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and technology.
  • A strong understanding of construction laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control project costs.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
