The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of concrete projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of assigned workers
  • Establishing and adjusting work sequences to meet construction schedules
  • Communicating progress to the superintendent and project manager
  • Ensuring that workers know and understand the company's safety policies
  • Maintaining liaison with customer's representative and advising superintendent and/or project manager of potential problems

Requirements:

  • Tuckpointing, brick/stone laying, caulking, and general construction knowledge are beneficial
  • Ability to read drawings and communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more, and climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects
