Are you a seasoned construction professional looking for a challenging role that will utilize your skills and experience? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team at Doggett Concrete Construction.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple new construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on estimating, project planning, and execution. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, superintendents, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects of each project, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, superintendents, and vendors to ensure project execution and quality control.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and scope of work to ensure accurate project planning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation and communication.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
- Develop and implement project improvement plans to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on estimating and project planning.
- Proven track record of successful project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, superintendents, and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Experience with construction software, including Timberline and PlanSwift.
