Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery and alignment of the project portfolio with organizational goals across IT-supported verticals.
- Manage large-scale programs, ensuring they comply with established methodologies, timelines, budgets, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, facilitate cross-department communication, and ensure governance through steering committees.
- Oversee financial tracking for all programs, including AR reconciliation, SOWs, and IT investment capitalization.
- Lead the development and implementation of software development and quality engineering models, ensuring adherence to SAFe agile practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define and refine metrics to track agile delivery performance and drive continuous improvement within the PMO and agile processes.
- Foster a high-performance culture by coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members, providing opportunities for career development and skill-building.
- Lead PMO and agile teams in developing expertise across tools, techniques, and interpersonal communications.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, driving operational excellence and efficiency in program execution.
- Select and implement best-in-class software solutions for portfolio and project management, ensuring full integration for tracking activities, costs, timelines, and budgets.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, ensuring processes remain efficient and cutting-edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or Software Engineering (Master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant certifications, such as CSM, SAFe, PMP, PfMP, or Lean Green/Black Belt.
- 10+ years of experience in portfolio, program, and project management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in software development, engineering, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing risks and overcoming challenges in dynamic environments.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented, with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work at required locations; full attendance is essential.
