Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, including medical and pharmacy directors, CEO's, benefit managers, and consultants.
- Performance Trend Management: Identify and manage performance trends to optimize the quality and cost-effectiveness of drug benefit programs for clients and their members.
- Sales and Business Development: Sell and introduce clients to new product and/or service offerings that provide value and reduce the drug spend impact on the client.
- Contract Compliance and Renewal: Manage client contract compliance and renewal activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal partners, including sales and underwriting, to formulate and review responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) for existing clients.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field preferred. Proven industry experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree. A minimum of 5 years account management experience required.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and planning skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to learn and convey regulatory or technical information, and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
