Bluebird Ocean Point Inn is seeking a seasoned Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our coastal Maine resort. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities
    • Create a budget that balances customer satisfaction with cost control and profit maximization
  • Operational Excellence
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of rooms, public areas, and grounds
    • Provide leadership and vision to inspire staff to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Team Management
    • Collaborate with department leaders to define goals and objectives aligned with the hotel's overall strategy
    • Manage a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar coastal resort setting
  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of leadership and customer service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
