Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment. This role will perform a variety of maintenance functions, including installations, general maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance of building and facility; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Repair electrical appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Make repairs to plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
  • Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, and windows, carpeting, etc.
  • Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Keep records as required by company policy and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel, inn, or resort preferred.
  • Knowledge of common vocational skills (basic understanding of carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical - licensing not required).
  • Attention to detail and results.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Shift flexibility to include nights and weekends during season (mid-May thru mid-October).
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
