The Laura Hotel is a premier hospitality destination in Downtown Houston, offering a unique blend of culinary excellence, inspiring creativity, and opportunities for both business and pleasure. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Outlet Manager to join our team and help drive our success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Interview, hire, train, develop, and recommend performance evaluations for staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of company programs and manage the operations of the Restaurant, Room Service, and other food and beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with LSOPs and SOPs.
  • Forecast, implement, monitor, control, and report on outlet budgets, maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff.
  • Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems, ensuring a quality experience and enhancing future sales prospects.
  • Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of outlet areas and equipment, protecting assets and ensuring quality service.
Requirements
  • More than two years of post-high school education.
  • Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
  • Supervision/management communication skills are required.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations.
