Job Title: Front-End ASIC Design Engineer

Socionext US is seeking a highly skilled Front-End ASIC Design Engineer to join our SoC business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital circuits, ensuring timely project delivery, and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop front-end ASICs, including architecture, logic design, and RTL integration.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, power, area, and schedule requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including verification, firmware, and FPGA teams.
  • Support customer design execution and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, with a focus on front-end ASIC design.
  • Hands-on experience with digital design tools, including System Verilog and AMBA bus protocols.
  • Strong understanding of clock-domain crossings, integration of IPs, and timing analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SoC architecture experience.
  • Experience with CPU, GPU, or DSP design.
  • Knowledge of low-power design and verification techniques.
  • Experience with high-speed peripheral interfaces.
