About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End ASIC Design Engineer to join our SoC business unit at Socionext US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting customer designs through all phases of ASIC execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Execution: Collaborate with customers to ensure designs meet product Performance-Power-Area-Schedule requirements.
  • Architecture and Logic Design: Develop and implement micro-architecture, logic design, and RTL integration and coding.
  • Verification and Validation: Contribute to and support verification, and ensure designs meet quality and reliability standards.
  • Project Management: Ensure deadlines for project milestones are met while maintaining quality and productivity.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with internal and external teams, including customer and vendor teams, to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong background in micro-architecture and front-end design.
  • Skills: Proficiency in micro-architecture, digital design, clock-domain crossings, integration of IPs/modules/sub-systems, AMBA bus protocols, System Verilog, Lint and CDC execution and analysis, timing constraints and timing analysis, and excellent debug skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines and project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SoC Architecture Experience: Experience in SoC architecture, with knowledge of CPU, GPU, or DSP, SoC Memory hierarchy, NoC/Fabric, low-power design and verification, high-speed peripheral interfaces, and machine-learning/AI.
