Job Title: Research Portfolio Manager

Harvard University is seeking a highly skilled Research Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the research administration function within the Department of Systems Biology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large and complex portfolio of sponsored research grants
  • Oversee award expenditures to ensure compliance with award terms and conditions
  • Prepare financial projection reports to analyze spending patterns and rates
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel effort and corresponding salary charges to awards
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with sponsor policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of sponsored research regulations
