Position Details:

We are in search of a skilled Supervisor with expertise in safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy machinery and equipment using various rigging techniques.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing teams responsible for rigging operations on large-scale industrial and heavy commercial projects.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Journeyman status as a Union Ironworker, Millwright, or Boilermaker
  • Strong mechanical reasoning abilities
  • Proficiency in mathematical applications, weights, measurements, and balance
  • Capability to assess loads, perform calculations, and develop lift plans
  • Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations regarding rigging equipment
  • Expertise in preparing cranes and necessary lifting devices
  • Commitment to health and safety compliance
  • Familiarity with the latest industry technologies
  • Experience managing multiple crews
  • Ability to complete electronic daily reports (timesheets, work logs, JSAs, PTPs, productivity tracking, budget reviews, QAQC reviews, etc.)
  • Flexibility with scheduling, willingness to travel, and ability to work overtime
  • Experience in managing large-scale industrial and heavy commercial projects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • 30-hour OSHA training
