Position Overview:

As a licensed architect, you will engage in the conceptual design of large-scale and complex projects, providing comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the correctional sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, intricate projects.
  • Collaborates closely with Project Management, Engineering teams, other Architects, and consultants to implement project strategies.
  • Trusted to present technical and design solutions directly to clients.
  • Develops and articulates the lead technical perspective on projects.
  • Coordinates with the Director on suitable technical solutions and product strategies.
  • Works with the Project Manager to oversee the team's activities and offer developmental support.
  • May require travel for client meetings, consultant coordination, site assessments, and construction administration (approximately 10% of time).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a five-year NAAB accredited institution.
  • Registered Architect preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing jails, prisons, or correctional facilities is essential.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Architecture.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • This position is available only to candidates residing in Indiana or Ohio.
