Position Overview: As a key member of the Department of the Navy, you will engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the development and refinement of strategic Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) initiatives, including fielding and sustainment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and insights to the JSF Program leadership regarding significant IT decisions and investments, ensuring alignment with strategic planning objectives.
  • Assist the leadership team in documenting, presenting, and justifying IT budgets and capital planning initiatives to military branches.
  • Participate actively in DoD and inter-agency panels and working groups focused on evaluating technologies and standards relevant to IT resources and functions.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and deemed suitable for federal employment.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
  • New hires must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to starting the role.
  • Position may require travel to various locations, including remote or isolated sites.

Qualifications:

Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience in information technology, showcasing the following competencies:

  2. Customer Service: Engages with clients to assess needs and provide effective solutions.
  3. Oral Communication: Effectively conveys information to diverse audiences.

In addition to the above competencies, your experience must include specialized knowledge equivalent to the GS-12/13 level, focusing on:

  • Analyzing IT policy and planning issues.
  • Leading IT system development projects.
  • Conducting technical analyses to assess performance enhancements.
  • Providing briefings on IT program specifics.
