Position Summary

Gridiron IT Solutions LLC is in search of an IT Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee IT initiatives within the Information Operations division. Collaborating closely with our Digital Transformation Program Manager and various business stakeholders, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective execution of IT projects, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, monitor, and manage project scope, schedule, and financial resources.
  • Establish project objectives, expectations, and success metrics to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Create, implement, and sustain a comprehensive project plan, detailing milestones and phase gates.
  • Clarify project roles and responsibilities, delegating tasks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement through meetings, strategic communications, and other methods.
  • Identify, address, and escalate project risks and issues, involving leadership when necessary.
  • Develop and execute project communication strategies, including regular status updates.
  • Oversee project resources, ensuring team members meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessments, pinpointing areas for enhancement and proposing solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliver timely reporting.
  • Lead project meetings and foster productive discussions.
  • Assist in the formulation of IT Program Management Office project standards, templates, and processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT project management.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • ITIL certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the industry.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
