Medical Records Coordinator

USA Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing education department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete patient records, processing requests and orders, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including charting, filing, and retrieving medical information
- Process requests and orders, including laboratory samples, diagnostic procedures, and continued care appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams, responding to calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Assist with orientation of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with Microsoft Office preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
