Job Summary:
Lead and manage initiatives in automation, engineering, and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a diverse team of engineers in the execution of automation projects.
  • Coordinate the installation, repair, and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
  • Manage maintenance workflows and operational processes.
  • Ensure the efficiency of electrical and mechanical systems through regular inspections and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment within company facilities.
  • Implement and uphold safety regulations and workplace standards.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, track budgets, and conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, while establishing project timelines and budgets.
  • Make informed decisions regarding equipment, personnel, and training needs.
  • Propose and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Supervise team performance and ensure effective operational methods.
  • Collaborate with other departments and management to align project activities.
  • Review project expenditures and select necessary resources.
  • Lead project teams and corporate functions, providing updates and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and document insights for future projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering project management.
  • Master's degree in business administration or engineering management is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
  • Practical experience with food safety standards and environmental compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including schematics and blueprints.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent mathematical skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and company culture.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Active participation in training programs and support for onboarding new employees.
  • Reports directly to the Plant General Manager.
