Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with Account Executives to connect with potential clients, utilizing their engineering expertise to identify market opportunities and assist customers with complex technical applications. Their role involves identifying client needs and effectively communicating the technological capabilities and business value of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Sales and Support: Respond to general inquiries and RFQs, evaluate technical requirements, prospect opportunities, and propose creative solutions that match customer demands.
  • Order Processing and Production: Send quotations, process POs, provide delivery updates, and manage various aspects of order processing and production operation.
  • Customer Service and Support: Initiate RMAs, provide after-sales support, and communicate customer concerns with quality, engineering, and management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain detailed customer records in the CRM system and nurture customer relationships with routine outreach and communication.
  • Product Qualification and Documentation: Manage qualification of new products, create and maintain sales documentation, and identify critical product characteristics and features necessary for future revenue growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Research potential markets for new and existing products and technology, identify opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and develop commercialization strategies.
  • Marketing and Sales Activities: Represent the company in various marketing and sales activities, such as industry trade shows, conferences, sales site visits, and customer facility audits.
  • Technical Presentations and Proposals: Prepare technical presentations that explain complex products and technology to current and prospective customers.
  • Custom Design Projects: Write detailed development proposals, assist in contract negotiation, and manage various aspects of custom design projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in technical sales, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • Skills: High-technical aptitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and well-established written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing resource planning, and customer relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Sensors and Load Cells.
  • Experience with Technical Sales.
