Scope of WorkThe Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing patient-centered care. Utilizing the nursing process, our RNs assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients while partnering with patients and families to develop personalized care plans.

- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke is required upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within 2 years.
