RN Progressive Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Care Nurse to join our team at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital. As a member of our ICU team, you will provide high-quality patient care to a variety of patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, 12-hour, midnight shift position that offers a $12,000 sign-on bonus. We welcome new graduates and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including on-demand pay, discounts directory, and traditional and Roth retirement options.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients on the Intermediate Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
