Position Overview:
PRO-telligent, a Tetra Tech Company, is on the lookout for skilled Construction Security Monitoring Specialists (CSMS) to support a significant U.S. Embassy construction initiative. This role is integral to the U.S. Department of State's Construction Security Monitoring Program.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing un-cleared personnel during specific construction phases.
  • Conducting inspections and assessments of materials, equipment, and furnishings intended for use within Controlled Access Areas (CAA).
  • Assisting in the random selection of materials necessary for construction and installation within the CAA and adjacent areas.

Additionally, CSMS will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive daily logs throughout their shifts, which will be submitted to the Contractor's Team Leader and the Site Security Manager.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. Citizenship and a minimum age of twenty-one (21).
  • Possession of a Top-Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Good physical health and compliance with medical requirements for the position.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in areas such as construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, or construction quality assurance.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Skills and Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of construction principles and technical surveillance countermeasures.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess designs and structural complexities.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Independent decision-making capabilities and a high degree of initiative.
